This whole registering thing has been, I think, very helpful in preparing for marriage. Alan and I are forced to express our individual opinions and then come to a compromise that both of us agree on. It's been nice to know what colors he likes, and what things he finds essential to making a home.
Alan's crazy about blues and greens and as we all know I love red. I'm getting the kitchen in red and black, so I wanted the master bedroom and bath to lean a little bit more towards Alan's taste. We both like chocolate brown a lot, so I decided that it would be the common color between both rooms. The master bedroom will be a light blue and chocolate brown and the master bath will be light "leaf" green and chocolate brown.
